Alabama Democratic Conference

The purpose of the Alabama Democratic Conference shall be to conduct voter registration and education campaigns, promote political unity, promote political education through all the county units affiliated with the ADC, establish county political units where none exist, to encourage the development of strong municipal and precinct organizations, to monitor public officials and agencies, to screen and endorse candidates, to advocate and advance the cause of the Democratic Party, to promote good government, to protect the welfare of all Alabamians generally and Black Alabamians in particular.
